A method where the model drafts an answer, then checks it with its own verification questions.
Definition
Chain-of-verification (CoVe) reduces errors by having the model draft an answer, generate questions that would check that answer, answer those questions independently, and then revise. The self-checking step catches mistakes and hallucinations the first draft missed.
