Hugging Face is a company whose platform, the Hub, hosts hundreds of thousands of open models, datasets, and demos, acting as the center of the open AI ecosystem — often called the GitHub of machine learning. It maintains widely used free software toolkits — including Transformers, Diffusers, PEFT (tools for cheaply adapting models), and Datasets — and provides hosted tools for running and training models.
