Llama
Meta's family of open-weight large language models, released under its own community license.
Definition
Llama is Meta's family of open-weight large language models — the trained models are released for anyone to download — under a community license that permits research and most commercial use. Because they are downloadable, Llama became a de facto standard base for the open community, spawning a large ecosystem of adapted and compressed (quantized) versions. It is widely used for running models on one's own computer or device and for fine-tuning experiments.
