NVIDIA Rubin (the Vera Rubin platform) is NVIDIA's AI compute platform succeeding Blackwell, announced at CES 2026 and in full production with partner systems shipping in the second half of 2026. It pairs a new CPU (Vera) with new GPUs (Rubin), each carrying far more high-bandwidth memory than Blackwell, alongside faster NVLink networking; NVIDIA packages 72 of the GPUs into a single Vera Rubin NVL72 server. The platform is aimed squarely at agentic AI, reasoning models, and mixture-of-experts models, with NVIDIA citing large reductions in inference cost per token compared to Blackwell.
