In practice this can mean keeping several agents busy in a grid of terminals, each tackling a different task or racing at the same one, while the human sets direction and reviews the results. The name riffs on 'polyamorous,' half-jokingly capturing the shift from a one-on-one relationship with a single agent to juggling a whole team of them.
