MCP Server

A server that exposes tools, data, or prompts to AI apps through the Model Context Protocol.

Definition

An MCP server is a program that offers tools, data, prompts, or other resources to AI applications through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a shared standard for connecting models to outside systems. It lets an AI app plug into a service through one common interface instead of a custom integration for each one.
